Travel: Marco Polo Spiral Guides

Now that's Christmas out the way and we are into 2016, it's time to start thinking about holidays. If you already have one booked or are looking for inspiration you can create the perfect trip with Marco Polo's new spiral guides.

Marco Polo is relatively new but are the fastest growing travel brand in the UK and offer a wide range of publications including travel guides, spiral guides, maps, atlases, phrase books and wall maps.

Marco Polo recently discovered my love of travel through my Instagram account and kindly sent me some guides to read. I opted for the Florida and Venice spiral guides as Venice is on my travel wish list and Florida is one of my favourite holiday destinations which I hope to return to in the future. I was also sent an Iceland travel guide and a huge wall map so can mark up all the places I have been and all the places I plan to travel to in the future.

The spiral guides are ideal for travelers who don't have time to plan their trip but want to cram as much as possible into their trip. The main features of the spiral guides are:

Top 10
The guide begins with the top 10 not to be missed attractions.

The Magazine
This section gives you background behind the destination and sets the scene so you know what to expect.

Finding Your Feet
This section includes practical tips from the moment you arrive at the airport and throughout your trip.

Don't Miss and At Your Leisure
These two sections are organised into regions telling you about the must see sights in each area. This will give you an idea of what you want to visit and what you don't want to visit as it also tells you about the less important sights.

Walks and Tours
This sections tells you about tours which range from walking, cycling and driving and may enable you to see the place from a completely different outlook.

10 Reasons To Come Back Again
The last section sums up all the good points of the destination and why you should return in the future.

Pull Out Map
The spiral guides also contain a large pull out map so you can find your bearings as soon as you arrive.

The spiral guides retail at £9.99.

*Thanks to Marco Polo for sending me these guides to review.
