Florida

It's been a while since I have written a post but if you follow me on Twitter or Instagram, I'm sure you will have seen I was in Florida for two weeks.

It was my first time in Florida and I loved it!! We stayed in a hotel on International Drive in Orlando which was really central for Universal Studio's and Sea World. I'm not crazy about theme parks, (but I'm basing this on a visit to the Pleasure Beach in Blackpool many years ago) so I was pleasantly surprised when I released I actually quite liked the ones I visited in Orlando. Even if you don't like theme parks there is something  for everyone. We managed to cram in so much in two weeks. Check out what I got upto........

Visited Universal Studios
Cable car ride at Bush Gardens
Got eaten by Jaws
Drank too many cocktails
Visited Wild Florida
Visited Downtown Orlando
and found a Farmers Market
Had a day at St Pete's Beach
Watched the Shamu Show at Sea World
Went on an air boat ride to see some alligators

Went to Harry Potter Land at Islands of Adventure
Went to Harry Potter Land at Islands of Adventure
Ate too much food
Did lots of shopping

My absolute favorite thing to do in Orlando was of course shopping! There were two Malls both about a 10 minute drive from International Drive and a Premier Shopping Outlet at either end of International Drive. Although the Malls were good, the Outlets were better value and that is where I picked up most of my bargains. You can find shops such as DKNY, Tommy Hilfiger, Victoria's Secret, Kate Spade, Calvin Klein, Macy's, Forever 21, Michael Kors and Prada (I could go on forever).

I had a few things in mind that I wanted to purchase, a new handbag and a pair of Converse. Of course I came back with a lot more. I purchased my bag from Kate Spade and was really surprised when a lot of people I spoke to (back home) had not heard of the brand. Anyway, I love my bag and I'm sure Kate Spade is going to be huge this year and my bag is an investment buy (although my boyfriend says he can not understand how a handbag is an investment).  Want to see what I bought...........

I also picked up some American brands to giveaway to one of my lovely readers so make sure you enter below for a chance to win:
